About the role
You will be embedded in the product and operations org, translating regulation into engineering decisions and engagement strategy with regulators.
What you’ll do
- Advise Product and Engineering on rule-of-the-road questions across trading, custody and issuance
- Lead engagement and submissions with primary regulators
- Draft and maintain the venue rulebook, member agreements and disclosures
- Coordinate cross-border legal questions with outside counsel
- Train the team on emerging regulatory developments
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years post-qualification at a top-tier firm or regulated venue in-house
- Securities, derivatives or banking regulatory background
- Pragmatic; gives clear answers, owns the trade-offs
- Strong drafting and stakeholder skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with digital-asset regulatory regimes
- Prior in-house experience at an exchange, broker or asset manager
