Security Engineer

Defend the venue — application, infrastructure and on-chain — against a credible, well-funded adversary.

Miami / RemoteFull-timeMid–Senior

About the role

Security at LaterVersion is non-negotiable. You will work across product, infrastructure and on-chain to find weaknesses before attackers do.

What you’ll do

  • Drive threat modeling, design reviews and red-team exercises
  • Own vulnerability management, penetration testing and bug-bounty operations
  • Build detection and response tooling for application and cloud workloads
  • Coordinate smart-contract audits and respond to live on-chain incidents
  • Partner with Compliance on SOC 2 / ISO 27001 evidence and audits

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of application or infrastructure security experience
  • Hands-on with cloud security (AWS), container security and modern identity
  • Working knowledge of EVM security pitfalls
  • Calm, evidence-based responder during incidents

Nice to have

  • OSCP, GIAC or comparable certifications
  • Public security research, CVEs or audit reports
  • Experience defending a regulated venue or custodian
